I deleted the other thread since I wrote it while I was a little irritated.

This will be a hierarchy based voted leadership noone will have a prepromised position. Myself and a few others got together last night to discuss what we all would like to see, here is what got covered:
Attending: Brian (Badcop), Justin(69utjeeper), Pete (plarson), Joe (rockinredneck), and Les (lewers)
Areas Covered:
Hierarchy
Club name
Membership prerequisites
Member/Associate
Membership fees
Associate organizations
Meeting days and times
By-Laws
It was determined the best way to form the hierarchy was to take nominations over the next month or so and at the next meeting have a silent vote.
Club name was kicked around and decided to be put to a vote after we figured one out.
It was decided to make it a requirement to attend 2 meetings and 2 gatherings (community service, wheeling trip, etc) in a 12 month period prior to being eligible to join as a full member. It was also determined that an associate member is still applicable to join and pay there members fees without having the rights of the club or the privilege of wearing the club decal on there vehicle.
Fees were kicked around and decided that $40 dollars per year will be the membership fee. $10 to UFWDA, $10 to U4WDA, $5 to BRC, $5 to Greg and the rest into the Club treasury.
No permanent day set, but 7pm seems to be a good time for most. Les brought up that he works every other week and Tuesday is his transition day, so we will try to set the schedule to meet his needs. It was agreed that the meeting will be moved to the North Salt Lake are to better accommodate those living in the SLC area. A place that serves food in a family environment needs to be found. Next week we will still use Pete’s office.
By-Laws were gone over using Brian’s version from Alaska; he will retype a rough draft for the next meeting to be gone over again.
Meeting was adjourned at 815pm until next week.
If your interested the next meeting will be thurs of next week at 7pm in the north salt lake area.
