I just got a call from a customer & friend (Wyatt Hanks / solidfrontaxle), he's stuck in a rising river ~50 miles SW of Wamsutter, Wyoming. His cell number is (307) 350-0935. He has a winch & recovery gear, but there is nothing close to anchor too and he's tried burying everything he could. Call me or Wyatt ASAP if you can make it or might know someone in the area that could assist him.

That doesn't sounds good! That's about 5 hrs from me, I have no winch, but if all he needs is a solid point to winch from and if he has no other options, I could head that way.

Is he near Baggs? Any better directions on his location? Possible GPS coordinates?

His exact location is N41*18.65’ W108*11.476’ along BLM# 4411 Road. ~4 hours from SLC. If he cant find anyone in the next hour or two I may burn out there. I've found a wrecker service out of Wamsutter that can help him out $150/hr and they can go ASAP but now I can't get Wyatt on the phone

Just heard back from Wyatt, he is out! Buried the spare tire several times, enough to get a good winch anchor and get him out of the water. He still has a couple more crossings but at this point is willing to wait out the storm and let the water levels come down. Hope we don't hear from him again until he is home safe!

Whoa good news. Yeah, waiting it out on dry(er) land might be a good choice.

Keep us updated.
