A friend who is doing the autobody program at Bridgerland Applied Tech. College told me they'd take care of the rust on my Toyota for the cost of materials. Does anyone have any idea how it will turn out? Would I be better off if I did the Duplicolor thing I've done in the past? Right now it has a couple little bubbles on the bed.

They'll do a better job than you will. :D I would let them do it, in a heartbeat. Bodywork is a pain in the ass, why not let people who WANT to do it, do it. :D

It won't look any worse than the rust. :D

I think you'll get your moneys worth out of them.

I think it will look fine. I wouldn't say professional autobody good but I would say better than you painting it in your driveway.

My dad had a few vehicles repainted by high school auto classes and they turned out looking good. One had a couple runs in the paint but for a truck he drove around the farm it didn't matter.

Ive seen a few come out of the auto class at Bridgerland and they looked good. I used to live next to the the instructor and he keeps a pretty close eye on the work. Just don't be in a hurry, it might take the entire semester.

In case anyone is wondering, I just got a fender back from them. It is pretty good, but not excellent. They painted over some debris that made for some funny little bumps, otherwise it look good. The bed is going in next.
