Utah County Search and Rescue is offering a free conference for leaders that take youth into the back country. It is on February 28th at American Fork Junior High School. There is limited seating and it should be a great conference. It is designed for people that volunteer their time to help youth get into the outdoors. Examples would be scout leaders, church youth groups, boys and girls club leaders, etc. Not designed for people getting paid for taking youth out like a wilderness drug rehab program. The class was set up for Utah county people, but if they aren't filling the seats with Utah County leaders they will open it up to state wide. The paramedic that taught at the last MMP training day will be one of the presenters so I would imagine it will be a good class. Feel free to tell any leaders of youth you know.
