Im installing a RCI aluminum fuel cell, Ive looked around at a couple of pumps & they all seem to be 200.00 to 250.00 (motor toy 4 cyl. efi)
does anyone know of a fuel pump that doesnt cost more than the cell?

Are you wanting in tank or on the frame for the pump? Autozone has the in tank for the 22RE for 130.00 but you can probably match the PSI and flow rate to one that mounts to the frame for 80.00 - 100.00. I bought an E2000 pump for 90.00 from them that is pretty small and works great. Looking at the stock pump specs it puts out 60-95PSI and the E2000 puts out 70 - 95PSI so it should work for you except the gallons per hour is a little less on the E2000.

Yes, I'm running it for the 4.3 and it has no problems even in high RPMs. I've heard of people running them with the V8 Vortec also and the part number is for a Ford V8 so it should be more than enough for the 4cyl. I'm running the factory Blazer lines in front of it with the high pressure filter and also a universal WIX 3/8" inlet outlet behind it. You probably can get away with a standard 3/8" filter behind it with nothing in front. The high pressure filters that can be used in front of it are pretty pricey. I also went to Bradshaw auto and picked up a screen to run in the fuel cell. It looks like a cigar with a metal connection in the middle and then I used a 1/2" fuel line in the tank that fit perfectly in the connection and then clamped it with an extra wide hose clamp. If you ask them to check out the fuel pump screens they have a box full of various ones and you can find one that would work with your line.

From what I've seen most just cut the hole and use a Toyota pump and lengthen the pickup tube. I wouldn't spend too much time or money on it if your like me and many others you will learn to hate the RCI aluminum cells :(

My RCI fuel cell was mounted per their specs and the corner seems would always split and would have to have it re welded.
