Fuel tank repair?

I crinkled one of my fuel tank brackets and on the way home it rubbed a small hole into the plastic tank before I got there to fix it. Can you fix the tank somehow? Just thinking the gas will eat through adhesives?

Google it. Seems like the only way you wouldn't find a schload of info is if you forget to turn your computer on first.

Yeah.... I was just looking to see if anyone here had actually tried something to fix one. The tank is really easy to remove and replace....it just might be easier and cheaper to fix.

I've used JB weld a couple of times with good results, but that was on steel tanks. I'd imagine if you can rough up the plastic enough that the JBW gets a good bite, it should work well - at least well enough for a temporary fix.
