if i remember right you can only get 1600 psi or whatever out of the saginaw .. and 1650 out of the tc but.. the tc is 4.5 gpm and i think you can get up to 6 out of a saginaw.. not sure if you already have a pump but heres a link to get more flow out of a saginaw if you dont already have a high flow one..http://westtexasoffroad.homestead.com/powersteering.html

sorry probably not much help if any

ps i read that info on a suzuki forum somewhere so you might wanta double check those suzuki guys are kinda sketchy

Are you having problems that youre trying to fix?

I have used a stock P series, a stock TC and a PSC P pump. The only one that has ever failed me was the stock P pumps, lots of them.

What failed on them?? I have had plenty of trouble w/the huge O-ring leaking after 80k miles or so, and once had a relatively new reman'ed pump lose the shaft bearing.. but no failure from the design itself (broken vanes, sheared shafts, that kind of thing)

Alright Goose, heres the skinny. Because of the small crank pulley on that 22re, its really hard to get a PS pulley small enough to underdrive that P-Pump. If you are dead set on running that pump, you best(read: only) option is a V belt PS pulley off an international with power steering. Its the smallest v belt p-pump pulley ever made. The v isnt the same exact shape but it should be close enough and work for you. Then you just have to make a bracket for that p-pump.

Your other option is to sell the P-Pump and go with the new CB pump. It fits better on the 22re and has a small enough pulley available to give it the rpms it needs. Plus I can set you up with a bolt on bracket for the CB pump for the 22re. This will give you the 1600psi and 4gpm you need for full hydro. This kit was run on several KOH rigs without any problems. If that P-Pump is new(or near new) I can give you some credit towards the new gear. Let me know if theres anything else I can help with.

Thanks.
Justin

that is kind of what I was afraid of!! I thought that finding a pulley that would work could be an issue.
the pump I have is new & never been used, what kind of credit could you give me towards a cb pump?
thanks justin!

Not sure. I just took them straight back for warranty.

I am pretty sure Street and Performance will make you any size and style pulley you want for the P pump. Probably not the cheapest but reasonable.
