FYTO4 was a heatwave...

Not a trip report, since I'm not really even saying where I was. But...

Went out farting around over the weekend, camped out two nights. When I crawled out of the tent to start my Jeep on Saturday morning the thermometer said -19F! BRRRRRR!! It was a fairly uncomfortable night... Saturday night it got overcast and was quite a bit warmer though, only got down to about 0.

Just a few pics...

Chaps and bones...

Covered about 160 miles of dirt, cut fresh tracks in the snow for about 100 of those, only saw one other vehicle (lion hunters). Good times!

I almost felt bad for you until I spotted the Woodford Reserve... That adds at least 10º :D

It does! Good for sore knees too :D !

And I should mention - that fire was in it's infancy when that picture was taken. A couple hours later, after the steaks had been eaten, the pie iron cherry turnovers polished off and a dent made in the Woodford, we had that fire built up to where it would make any FYTOers proud! Actually, I'm pretty sure it was visible from outer space...
