Garmin GPS 60 question....

I got a Garmin GPS 60 for Christmas..... wondering before I oepn it if it I should upgrade to a color or more sophisticated unit? Seems like as soon as you get one you feel the need to upgrade. What would you get for a starter unit that will satisfy the user for a couple years.

all opinions appreciated........

I no nothing about gps so I am strictly a novice.. any good gps classes you know of?

I have the venture and I love it. I would try and get one with color. As for classes I am not sure if they have them. I know cabelas had classes at one time. I just started pushing buttons on mine a figured things out.

I recently bought a Garmin Vista HCx, I'm quite happy with it.

I bought a Garmin 350 the day after thanksgiving and I am way happy with mine. It has voice, turn by turn directions, full color, mp3, and tons of presets of locations. But thats just one guys opinion.

I also got a Garmin for Christmas, but mine is the 60cs model. I had an old B/W model but it's really worth getting color. My 2 cents worth
