I am running a 91 tracker, 8v with a new motor... about 20-30k on it. DUal force clutch 5 speed tranny.... Snorkel.. and 32" tires on aluminum rims..

My speedo cable is broken, and I haven't been able to keep track of my gas mileage.. so tonight I did a 15.1 mile trip one way, and then back filling up first then again after for a 30.2 mile trip.

I put in about 1.5 1.6 gallons for a gas mileage of 20ish

I swear I used to get about 23.. maybe I need a longer trip to verify this.
Am I out too far in left field? or is this good mileage with my setup? Then again, I got the 24ish when I was drafting my brother lifted jeep to moab a few years ago.. bet thats where im getting the basis.

Well, I am headed to moab this EJS to watch mostly, hit a few easy trails.. .maybe see some of ya! Make sure you come say hi!

You need a longer trip to verify and if you are doing a short trip like that you need to fill up at the same pump at the same gas station. There are different variances between pumps as to when they shut off. I would personally be thankful for 20mpg but drag makes a huge difference for those little vehicles with little motors. Even Jeeps benefit from drafting, I used to draft behind Jamesgeologist on the way home from Wamsutter. James was in his lifted cherokee and I was in my lifted YJ and I would draft anywhere between 10 and 5' away from his back bumper for 200 miles and it saved both of us on gas mileage although it tended to save me more.
