those plumbing parts are made of cast iron
I break them all the time at work with the torque of a 12 inch pipe wrench.

Not just the pipe fittings, but he has welded a nut with the proper thread (I assume) to the inside of the bell fitting. And the two pipe fittings are welded to each other also, they may not even be the right size for each other! And using blackpipe for your links is pure ..... WOW.

Someone needs to contact the highway patrol and have an inspection officer look at it.
