Glass skywalk

Ive always wanted to go to this (Grand Canyon West skywalk) but once I saw the prices , they seem a bit excessive.
($80)ea.
Anybody been there and was it worth the money.?

Cannot comment on the glass walk, never been there and no desire to go. Personally, I hate the South Rim altogether. Between the two, I'd go to the North Rim every time.

Me too a bit.
I did get on thier site and the tickets are down to $52ea. But can't take cameras on the skywalk itself. Kinda lame. Still up in the air if we'll go. Too bad the North rim wont be open that time of year, I'd get us a NP annual pass since Zion's will be on our trip list also.

The paved road into the park past jacob Lake is closed, I don't recall a gate on the road south of St George work your way in towards Mt Trumble. But I would bet there is a bit of snow there. we used to be able to drive all the way to the edge of the canyon there and it was the section on Lake Mead NRA and not the Grand Canyon NP.
