Gm torsion bar tool

Does anyone have a torsion bar unloading tool I could borrow for a couple days or know of a place to rent one. I am looking at doing a leveling kit on my wifes truck its a 09 chevy silverado 2500, 6.0. Thanks Zack

Cranking the bolts all the way in doesnt get enough lift? Keep in mind those torsion keys are the same as cranking the bars up.

but, I just use a big C clamp with the end removed so it has a ball on the end of the threaded part instead of the wobbly flat part.

I will call checkers and if that dont pan out I do have a c clamp laying around with out the wobbly peice. I know it wont give it much lift just looking to level it out and get a little bigger tire on it. Between the fact that my wife is short and our garage not having a tall opening on it I think the leveling kit is about all we could do.

I would crank them up before using the keys, its all the same in the long run.

I didn't need keys to get level on a 06 gmc 2500.
I did upgrade to upper arms and longer shocks though.

I just finished cranking the torsion bars up almost got it level. I think it should be enough to get the new wheels and tires on thanks for the advice.
