Good carb shop?

Hi all,

Looking for a good carb shop, and someone (shop) that knows CJ's, and Jeeps in particluar.

I have an 81' CJ-7 w/4.2L and the original carb and having problems. The Jeep came from a state without any emissions and as such all that stuff was pulled out leaving alot of wires and hoses unplugged. I wouldn't know where to start, so, a shop that knows carbs and Jeeps would be a plus.

I did a search on here and found carb master down in West Jordan. He still around? and are there some other shops?

Let me see if I can get the name of it. But there is a Chevron station in Holliday. Around 30-40th south somewhere. They employees owned CJ's and they knew all about the stock carbs and the MC2100's and were very resonable on the price

PS....
Those carbs are not too hard to work on youself. If you like to take things apart and put them back together you should be able to rebuild it yourself for a $20 rebuild kit. The emissions is pretty simple, half of the hoses you see just attach to the air filter and are not emissions critical.

carb master on 85ish south and old bingham highway is also good. they made an awesome difference in my yj with the same motor

I work at lancer auto & 4x4 we do work on carbs we don't do a lot
with jeeps. But we can work on it and do the SI & IM.
