Good "Shakedown" trail?

My rig went thru a little suspension face lift, and I'm lookin for a trail close to Provo that will let me put my Disco thru it's paces and see what needs attention now. I'm new to the area, so I really don't have any idea what is where. So any advice would be great. Here's what I have:

99' Land Rover D2
bout 6-7" lift
37" Pitts
Rear Detroit
Front TrueTrac
HD Axles
etc.

So, something with a little difficulty would be nice on flexing it out etc. Not looking to do an all day trail, just get some measurements, pics ect.

Thanks for the help,
-Aaron

I find little moab is the best for that. That way if something happens you can get a tow rig or wrecker in there pretty easily

Did I see your Rover on a trailer yesterday heading south bound I 15 in Lehi?

Looks sweet if thats yours! Probably not to many Rovers around on Pitbulls

I went to Little Moab for the first time a couple weeks ago. It is awesome! If my Scout was running and my tow rig wasnt in the shop......I would meet you there.

Good luck!

Yup, that was me with Lil Landy. Corey brought it back down from Rigby on Thursday, so I had to take it out and see what I needed to cut or move to fit/flex with those Pitts. I would love to see your scout in action! The pics from Tough Truck were sick.

I tore the top end of the motor down saturday......everything looks good. Im taking the heads to the shop today to get them checked. If they are good....I should have a new motor in in a week or 2. Ive been wanting to wheel so bad my teeth hurt.

Hopefully I can make a trip out to little Moab when its fixed.

Did you make it out this weekend?

Yup, was there bout 2 hrs Saturday morning. I couldn't do anything too difficult... had issues with the front bumper clearance, rear drive shaft binding, and I need to retain the rear springs (switching from watts linkage to panhard freed up a lot of flex). After a few adjustments I should be ready for some good lines.

Let me know when you head down.
