Nothing, he doesn't do a dang thing. And he gets paid well for it too!!!

The joystick controls hydraulic power distribution. Couple of other cools things about the new Mogs: electric defrost windshield (extremely thin wires running through the glass), sliding steering column/pedals to make the vehicle RHD as needed, a scheduled kerosene block heater for when an electrical outlet is not available, CTIDS system, manumatic trans (clutch pedal folds up into the dash when in auto), variable PTO torque F/R, diff lock/LSD for front/center/rear, engine management event log (retrieve diagnostics via Bluetooth, if a glow plug's resistance is out of spec you'll know). $160K, worth every penny and we have 4 of them.

Man I hated when you guys would clear the snow off of those little roads and I had to get the hell out of your way. I saw another city that ran Mogs for plow trucks and service trucks just can not remeber at this time.

What do they use them for? We have a City inspector that drives a Wrangler Rubicon down here in St George, but that is about the only cool vehicles around that are government owned.

Plowing Old Town, mostly. The roads are very steep and narrow, and the Mogs are the only vehicles that can plow them effectively. We've used them to pack sections of antenna towers and long range microwave transceivers to the top of Lewis Peak and remote terrains on the ski resorts.
