Hello all!
I'm Dan. Been living in the Salt Lake valley most of my life (Denver for a while), was real interested in rock crawling in high school, went on the Moab safari a few times back then, but that was a while ago.
Flash forward 20+ years...
I had to give up my 3-series BMW convertible because I couldn't fit a carseat in the back (not complaining, I'd take the kid over the car any day). I decided I'd replace it with something that I could enjoy taking him around in for the next few years. So I bought a 2012 Grand Cherokee Overland. And since it's a Jeep (owned a '93 Grand, it was a great vehicle that we took all over, until it got a bad case of Salt Flats induced rust), I've gotta get it dirty.
Not too interested in serious rock crawling just yet (it is still new, after all...need to put on some rock rails, and better tires), but I do want to know what this vehicle's limitations are. So, I posted in this weekend's noob run thread, hope to be able to get a spot. I'll only be able to attend Saturday though.
Thanks,
Dan
