So what's everyone using for mapping software for their GPSes? Do you plot out your trip prior to departure or do you just use it to download points/tracks/routes from your trips? I recently found Garmin has released BaseCamp that uses their maps. It makes it so simple to save information and get it in to Google Earth, best of all for me is they have a Mac version :D. Oh, and it's free too! So what does everyone use and how do you use it?

I'm still using AllTopo (made in Utah) and TOPO! however I never really plot tracks before hand, rather I'll mark key turns, camp areas, etc and then download the track after the fact. I want to be looking at the scenery not staring at my GPS :D
