Anyone use Garmin MapSource Trip & Waypoint Manager? If so. is it easy to use. My main thing is to be able to add waypoints easily from the laptop.
Thx

I designed that software, so I am super stoked that it's rad for you. ;)

I have had it for about 6 months and it seems to work well. I can use it to add waypoints and routes to or from my GPS. It also manages the download of Maps to my GPS. And just to state the obvious . . . It only works with Garmin.

I use National Geographic's TOPO Utah software to do that, and it works fine. Plus you get Utah's topo maps. With it I can trace a trail from the map and export it to my GPSr as a route and be set next time I'm out. Pretty nifty. Sorry I don't have any experience with Mapsource. Try the groundspeak forums on geocaching.com in the "GPS Units and Software" subforum.

I thought the Garmin software was pretty good, kind of slow to enter new waypoints, but great wtih copying and syncing waypoints between the PC and GPS.

Has anyone tried the "Google Earth Plus", the pay service from google? I am curious how well it works

I've been wondering about the google earth plus as well. Its not too expensive, I may give it a try and see how it does.
