Pitbike. Needed some love. So I blew off the dust and blew it apart to attend to it.
I bring the Pitbike whenever I take out the Jeep so passengers can have some fun while we are waiting on the group.
It also makes a great parts/ truck getter if someone breaks down.

It's a Honda 50 clone that has a 125 or 150 motor swapped in.

I also added a new grade 8 motor mount bolt to fix a stripped one.

I added bigger BBB forks and longer rear shock.

I modified and reinforced the swing arm mount.
It also had these cheesy rubber bushings in the swing arm that wore out,
So I had my friend Reddman at BK Machineturn me some sweet black Delrin ones.
Then I found a new high strength swing arm bolt.

I attacked the exhaust with a wire wheel and added a muffler mount (panel tab I picked up from Midnight 4x4). Then painted with header paint.

Fork risers

I also swapped in a newer chain and adjusted the chain tension.

I yanked the carb to clean it and replace the brittle fuel line with some new stuff and I rebuilt the leaky petcock with help from Cycle House.

Boring carb pics so I remember how it goes back together.

I blew apart the carb and cleaned it while my wife applied some graphics to brighten the thing up.

So I put it all back together with a new UNI foam filter and flipped the carb so it faces backwards.
I also rebuilt the petcock and got new fuel hose and now it runs great.
Starts first kick and has good power. I can't seem to get it to idle with the choke all the way off unless the idle speed is turned way up.

Russ thinks the pilot jet is too lean. I tend to agree with him but the jet doesn't have any number on it.
I guess I'll get a pin style feeler gauge and up it a few sizes.
