I thought I would take care of the formalities up front. I've been looking for a forum like this for a while since the previous forum I used went under.

I'm a Utah native living in Colorado Springs. I've been a Jeep guy for years, but currently am using an Xterra to get around. I've been all over the west and still make an annual trip to Utah for the trails, scenery, and company.

I'm looking forward to getting involved with everyone and becoming active in meeting and greeting at trail heads.

P.S. as you can tell by my login I have many more interest than just 4 wheeling, but it is still my favorite way of exploring the west.

notajeep, the X is pretty much bone stock. I have fit the biggest tires I can and had to trim a bit of plastic. I cranked the torsion bars a small amount too. I figure I'll slap on some longer shackles and call it done. I've done the big, bigger, biggest with my Jeep and got slapped by the wife. She is only 5'1" and has demanded that I keep the vehicles low enough for her to get into without a ladder. Oh well, there is always skid plates and winches.
