would anyone be interested in a trail ride in Nov-Dec or just whenever we get some snow. I would like to do a large group of people, in particular people with removable tops (not a requirement but those with removable tops I would like to see them off so you can suffer as much as I do), to go on a trail run up to Willard Peak. Anyone willing in trying this out? Maybe for the morning of said event I could cook up some Hot Chocolate and the people who will be attending can bring thermal mugs/canteen things and we could go see how far we could get.

I love snow wheeling, I don't overheat!

If anyone has a better spot to do it feel free to chime in, I'm open for suggestions, this is just where I go most of the time during winter. It's a wide enough trail that you don't have to worry about sliding off the edge or running into trees if your careful.

Can you tell I am sick of the heat! :-\

We could call it a show of brute high power motor revving fun! Hammer down action with snow flyin!
:D

I could be interested in this depending on the trail rating, due to current rig set up.

Would safari top, jammer, tannaue, DQ me?

Trail rating is really not an issue, it's just how well you can fling the snow! ;) It's regularly a 2-2 1/2 trail i would think. Nothing to technical just enough to simulate mud bogging without the mess to clean up... just a wet interior :D . Like stated before.. it's not a requirement to do it topless just more of something that I thought would be fun and out of the norm. I want to try it out and just thought it would be fun to have other people with me in their topless rigs so I am not the only crazy bastid out there. :)

i probably would be... how about over avon? avon to hyrum down logan canyon... makes for a scary ride (seriously) when its snowing so hard you can only see 20 ft in front of you the whole day... and i broke a front u-jont on the d-shaft and drove down logan canyon on 37's in 2wd

seriously, that was a scary ride....

oh ya, my truck kept overheating and it would bypass the heater core and the windows kept falling down... might has well been topless

I would definately be in. Monte has always been fun. Either hardware ranch road, or Curtis Creek. I cant wait to see how much better it does now with the mogs and the 406sb (compared to the 6.2 diesel and regular axles.)

The problem with that run is they close it early in the year before the snow gets to deep now.

I would be in, we'd be making a bunch of sledders mad though, I know because I'm a sledder and I would be making me mad :). Going up to Inspiration point on Sleds is only doable after the first two or three snows because of avalanches. I would recommend waiting till after that so the sledders don't get as mad because then the trail use goes way down. Just my two cents, no reason to make conflicts.

I'd love to see your truck in action, that alone is good enough for more than a few people to show up... it's a nice rig!

I understand the sled conflict and I am in no way trying to provoke anyone into pissing of the sled heads :D. I like to ride snowmobiles also but there needs to be somewhere we can go play in the winter. I am also looking forward tp the U4WDA Winter Convention.... I am so tired of the heat!

I hear you, I was out playing with my sled this week dreaming of snow. The first time the temps dip below 50 at night I'm ready to ride.

I'm in!!! I've done a bit of that over the last few years, it's really kind of fun. And, I've never been up there, so that'd be cool too.
