in which line did you put your filter in? and do any one you have pics of your hoses coming from the o-valve? I bought all my lines today and it just doesn;t seem right how everything is done up...I put my filter in my return line to the reservoir??? and what filter is everyone using? I bought the one from Rockstomper but the thing is pretty big, just wondering if there is anything smaller?

i put mine in return line after the res so it will filter all fluid right before the pump i used a standard hydraulic filter that has a spin on filter and is cheap i got it from spencer fluid supply in slc

Howe told me they would not sell me any individual parts. I had to buy an entire system.

yeah, He started a little while ago trying not to sell individual parts as people weren't matching the systems properly and it was making his systems look bad or something along that line...somehow, some guys are still able to get individual parts ocassionally :-\

well my biggest problem is right now I have 3000 psi line on everything and it just seems like a cluster fawk...I know my return lines I can go smaller but is there any others? also what type of fittings did you guys' use? I went to Evco and while they were super cool to work with all my fitting are about 4" long each with the clamped ends so it makes it nasty looking...so what did you guys use? Thanks

Found a pic but its not that good, I'll show you anyways. But, I use all re-useable fitting from EVCO. There is kind of a trick to buying them, since I did all fuel, tranny, steering lines in the same stuff I learned real quick. All of the pressure lines are 5/16". The return line is 3/8". From what I have noticed you would want it to be able to return more than it pumps. Also did this for a little more capacity. I wouldn't change any of the rating on the line 3000 is good. Trust me, if one of those blows your screwed! Not sure what else you want to know, so post up.

About the fittings. If at all possible, never buy a 90 deg. AN fitting, use an o-ring fitting for the orbital and then a straight fitting off that. You will save about $10 per fitting. Hope the pic helps a bit.

from what I can see, the hoses and fittings look about the same on mine too, I used the o-ring fittings on everything but they adapted them all to -8AN??? (is that how they did yours?) I was actually pretty surprised at the cost...I was planning around $300 and got everything for around $200...but I also bought all my fuel line and fittings for my fuel setup too...

I'm gonna mess around with my setup a little more tomorrow and see if I can get it into shape:D...I guess more than anything I am worried about the looks:rolleyes: (I know, lame reasoning)

I used all pressure stuff 5/16" to #6 AN fittings. I dont know for sure, but it sounds like the hose ( unless you know the size ) might be a bit too big. The larger the size the more flow but the less pressure. $200 sounds like alot to me, I was able to get all fittings and hose for less than $100. I'll take a good picture of all of the system and post them tomorrow night for you. I would hate for your stuff to not be pretty! -_-chek out the last post from Camo it may help...

I wish, after looking at the price:eek: ($150) I'm gonna try and find a smaller one than I have but if I can't then I'll make mine work...

I use a remote res like the one in the picture. I ordered it for $50. You could also run a bling oil filter like this one filter and you wouldn't have to worry about it looking too bad, geek. :D

thats basically the same res. I am using, but mine is their round one

I went back into Evco today and I will say those guys are sooo awesome...they helped me figure out a better way to do things, now it shouldn't look as cluttered and they traded me out hoses straight across:cool: (normally they charge a 35% restocking fee for custom made stuff) I will get some pics in a little bit once I have it fully assembled

I hope your keeping track of part #'s for me ;)

when you are ready, PM me or post or whatever and I can tell you exactly the fittings and hoses I used. Evco has been super cool to work with too...I am going to be bleeding my system tomorrow after I get one more fitting for my return line...
