I thought they used the same IFS setup Chevy and GMC trucks have used for years. What is the difference in the HummerII knuckles? Maybe the only diference is 35" tires.

omg some cars out there are just stupid sum rich idiot down the street from me got one of these, hes inherited sum huge building down town and got loaded off it, other than that the guys a moron, i talked to him, he was telling me how the guy at the dealership talked him into it and told him how "amazing" they are off road (this is the same guy who got a porshe a while back and told me that porshe doesnt put turbos in their cars anymore )

Thumbs up to your neighbor, sounds like he's a "quick, shift-on-the-fly" guy. The only thing these people are doing who buy the Hummer brand is they are looking for the attention they get from people. The have no clue what off-road means. The Hummer is an oxymoron like the Mercedes Benz M class SUV and the Porsche Cayenne SUV, who in their right mind would drive these cars off-road? Only the rich can afford them and only the rich think they're off-roading when they drive one down a grated gravel road. They're just a bunch of yuppies who have nothing better to do with their money. Oh, well!

Porsche Cayenne SUV, who in their right mind would drive these cars off-road?

The rich guy up the street from my dad just bought one of these. He needed a four wheel drive to get up the steep hill in the winter but loves to drive fast (His other car he just got was a $60,000 Maserati). He took my dad for a ride and my dad said it was unbelieveable how fast it got going in a half mile. It will never go off-road but at least it will go in four wheel drive when it snows.
