Will the h2 17 in aluminum wheels fit on the 8 lug Ford D44 or do you have to machine the center to fit the hub like on a D60

From what I've seen, they will fit, but I have heard a few isolated cases where machining was needed (to fit a 60... but I think the base diameter right at the WMS is actually pretty close on a 44)
So yes, they should fit.

I had to take a 4" grinder to mine to fit on a Chevy 44 front. Took about a minute each rim.

if that lip is in the way just take a router and with the right bit it will be much cleaner than the grinder
