Hangman/pickle

I have always wanted to run this trail in Moab but have never been able to find it. So I have a few questions.

Anyone run this trail?
Is it hard to find?
Is it still open?
What is needed as far a rig to run this trail?
and last...is it a fun trail?

When are you gonna be down there again? I will show you how to get there. I had a blast, my friend and I randomly found it while driving around in the bartlett wash area, and spent the rest of the day there. The only problem I had was the first double step ledge, but that was in my runner with the rear spooled, and no crawler. It just took a bit of time to get up. Its really nice to get out on a trail that not many people know of.

Am I even thinking of the same trail though? I was just at this random spot with a few obsticals etc then a month or so later I saw some pics of the same trail in a magazine and they called it pickle.

I don't know what hangman is!

I am heading down Over Presidents day, that would be great if you are going to be down there. Hangman is part of or right next to pickle but you have to winch up a huge ledge to get on it.

Hmm...winch huh, No winch even close to being in my budget right now, I would rather get a roll cage (which I was going to get with the money I sold my old one for but it was stolen)

I honestly doubt I will be able to go down. I just got the rear axle swapped in with a detroit, and will start working on the front suspension possibly saturday when I have access to air tools!

We are going to be down over Pres. Day, been to the Pickle, haven't run it yet. We were sort of planning on doing it anyway, maybe on Monday cause it's short, then everyone can get home at a decent hour. We can take you there if Klifo1 can't.

Pickle

The pickle is a pretty fun trail. But the last I heard about hangman is that the winch point is no longer there. The shaft that was there for a winch point was broken off, and we could never find the back way into it.
