I tried searching but couldnt find what I am looking for...
I have a hard time starting the jeep after it has sat for a while. it will crank for at least 10-15 seconds before it starts but so far it has always started. After I drive i for a couple minutes then shut it off and restart it it starts up fine, the problem is just after it has sat for a while like when i go out in the morning or after work. Any ideas of where to start?

I've got a 87 doing the same thing. I was planing on swapping the fuel pump out. Better now than in the middle of winter.

Try turning the key to on for about 10 seconds and then cranking. Works on mine.

I have tried it. Even tried cycling it 3-4 times and it doesnt seem to help. Someone mentioned a check valve by the fuel pump???? Does anyone know anything about this?
