Headed to MOAB Feb 21-22

I have plans to go wheeling with a buddy from Durango. I am probably going to head down there Friday night and plan to stay through Sunday.
We are going to stick to moderate trails.

Does anyone know what the trail conditions are (snow/ice)?

Right now it looks pretty good. There is a little snow in a few places, but for the most part there is not much snow at all. I will tell you, that between spanish fork and price on HWY 6, where that gas station sits out in the middle of nowhere, lot of hard packed snow on the hwy. Took a little while to get through there, traffic slowed up a bit (obviously) and if you are pulling a trailer you may have to slow up more than I did.

Came home today, did several trails, and all was nice. Ended up coming down long canyon last night, and there was a bit of icy hardpack snow in there, with dirt showing through in places, but really almost no snow on any of the canyon walls or anything like that. If it is anything like today, you are in for some nice weather.
