Wouldn't the front and rear axles on that crap pile have vastly different gear ratios, given the reduction from the chain on the rear, and the apparent lack of a matching reduction in the front? Did they do that to compensate for totally different gears in the difs?

That thing is certainly no Cheburator...

Agreed its not the Cheburator.. but if you look close at the first pic...

The rear Pumpkin drives the Front pumpkin, chain reduction is done at the rear axle, and the two axles are connected via one driveshaft.
