Hello and thanks for the run last night

Hello,

My name is Brandon and I am from Provo. I am new to Off-Road Jeeping, but not new to off-roading as I am an avid off-road motorcycler. I have run many trails on my Suzuki DRZ-400 from Moab, Green River, the San Rafael Swell, to the Single Track in AF, Hobble Creek, and Nebo. The Jeep seems like a better way to get out and enjoy some time with the family together.

Thank you for the run out in 5-mile last night, I had a blast. It was a great run for me to start getting comfortable running this Jeep Off-Road

I am concerned about the strength of the Dana 30 in the long run, but I will wheel it till I need something stronger.

I am always looking for advice and inexpensive solutions to improving my Jeeps performance. So please feel free to chime in anytime and help me out.

Welcome, it looks like you got a good start on a crawler there. I wouldn't worry to much about that Dana 30 as long as you don't go over 35's and take it easy on the skinny pedal.

you are more than welcome, I'm glad you were able to come. That is a very well-built jeep, and I'm sure it did well. Did you end up doing rattlesnake? You did a great job driving for your first time. Im sure a lot of your motorcycle experience came in to play. Keep hanging out on this forum, and check the "upcoming wheeling trips" thread for future wheeling trips.

I followed Tyson down the trail from the 'mine place' up top and he ran me down some rocky wash/trail. It certainly wasn't the trail we came up on... I didnt catch a name of it. I was very happy with how my Jeep flexed and crawled down it. I am looking forward to exploring all the fun local trails here in the county and bringing my family along.

yes that was rattlesnake that we came down...nice driving i figured that you had been up and down the trail before

unfortunately we don't have too many more trails that have big rocks in them, but Moab is amazing, and American Fork canyon will be opening at the end of may. Hope to wheel with you again in the future soon.

Right on Jack. I am quite familiar with proper trail ettiquette from my OHV motorcycle riding. Dirt bikes face the same closure issues. You shouldn't have to worry about me being a liability to the OHV community.
