Hi !

My name is Enzo, i'm 18 and I live in France (that sucks for four wheeling :-\ ), and I apologize for my crappy english i learned in school.

I'm currently in college, in the mecanical engineering curse ;)

I'm a moderator in the french Pirate4x4 board and I'm fond of 4wd since I was very young.

I always wanted to come to the US to see and maybe to drive some of the beautyfull trails yous guys have here ! So, i'm saving money and, maybe next summer i'll come to the EJS

BTW, I own and drive a 97' TJ Sahara, very lightly modified :

AEM intake
Procomp +2"
Home Made sliders
Steering Box skid
simex 33" on stealies when offroading and 31" all-terrain for the road

Since it's my daily I can't modify it to much because you are not allowed to drive a modified vehicle on the french roads

I even struggled to get my anual car inspection 'cause of the 31" beeing not the factory dimension tire

So, I plan on selling the TJ, finding some old YJ/XJ/ZJ to do a low budget project, buy a trailer and a tow rig to trailer the jeep to the events...

That sucks, but it's the way we need to do if we don't want the forfeiture of the rig for not beeing road legal... -_-

I hope to meet some of you a day :) !!

Bonjour Enzo!

Cela cela veryi agreable de vous rencontrer. :)

(Thanks to the Google english to french translator.)

It would be fantastic if you were able to come for EJS, what a vacation that would be! Keep us posted, I'm sure some of us will be there.

Thanks guys !

After 6 months, I managed to sell my TJ ! Jeeps are very difficult to sell here, 'cause of the very bad mileage ("normal' mileage of a classic french car is about 33mpg and the TJ is far from this mileage) and the unability to find good maintenance shop

So it goes tomorow !

I'm currently in search of the new Tow Rig and I find a LPG-injected Grand Cherokee 5.9L, with some work to do (dead front axle, and a few electrical issues)...

For the Trail Rig, i'm in search of a TJ without title, or something to build...

Oh ! Almost forgot :

I live in Saint-Etienne, near Lyon, in the south west of France.

Very cool! good luck with the new project!

I almost chose a grad school program that would have me in Lyon for a while (I'm still deciding). I love that area. I am also very fond of Geneva which is pretty close to you as well.

Great to have you on RME!
