I am trying to get the wife's Willys going. (See avatar) The original column has been replaced with a GM tilt column that is so worn out that holding the steering wheel up is the hardest part of driving it. It is also big, green and ugly.

Does anyone have any recommendations for a replacement??? I would like to keep it tilt. (Only way I can fit, Does not matter to her.) Any pics??

I've just tightened the 4 screws that hold that thing together before and had a new column.

The biggest problem with this one is that it came from and early 80's pontaic sunfire. It has lots of plastic junky looking parts. Just doesn't fit the Willy's persona. I was hoping to find something simpler that looks like it belongs there.

Wouldn't that be way too long for a Willy's?? I'll measure the one thats in there.
