My duramax has a cng injection system on it so looking to fill up on my way to and from denver...550 horse power:D and 50ish mpg...gotta love it!:D

How long have you run CNG on your Dmax? Any problems and what did the conversion cost? I have run CNG before on a 454. I loved it but sold to get a 06 Dmax. I would love to get it on my DMAX!!

If you have anymore information on the CNG kit used I sure would like to see and hear more about it.

LT.

Just a basic injection system, you can run up to 2 gallons of CNG to every gallon of diesel fuel. It has increased mileage from 18 MPG to as good as 62 MPG, just depends on how you drive and what the CNG to diesel ratio is. No magic here just replacing diesel with CNG.

How big of a CNG tank are you running and how much does it cost you to fill up if you don't mind me asking???? I am sure everyone else is wondering this one as well so I might as well throw that out there! Thanks!
Matt

Also I am in Grand Junction..... So I can look around a bit and see what I can find out here. I know we have an E85 station at the intersection of 30 Rd and Business HWY 6/50. But I haven't seen a public CNG station yet.

Mine is a 30 GGE (gallon gas equivalent) tank, it costs around costs around 20 dollars to fill in Utah, if you go to www.cngprices.com you can find local CNG fill up stations and current (almost) prices in your area. If you could check into a local station in Junction for me that would be great. Thanks!

So is this identical to propane injection on a diesel? If so are you worried about detonation?
