No kidding. If I was buying something with that much power it wouldn't be a laptop that's not really all that portable. With three drives spinning and a 17" display I bet the battery life is less than an hour

Unless you really needed desktop computing power in a portable package. I've got the previous PC Laptops version of their "big" desktop replacement laptop. Although I don't have more than one HDD. I love it, although it's a little big. It's not so convenient in coach class, but it does everything needed. To each his own.
