hey i was wondering what some of you guys that fab for a living or do alot at home would think a trailer like this would cost to make but maybe make the smoker about a foot longer? the reason i ask is because my younger brother backed out of buying this samurai from me so I am going to post up my samurai and all parts for it on ksl so I can either get this made or a military trailer with a roof top tent or both.

thank you. I had looked at that ad a couple days ago but its alittle tall from my liking and im one of those uptight guys that when I saw the rust on the trailer and smoker I was turned off of that one.

Brandon, are you living in a place where you could build one yourself? I think that'd be a great first welding project.

I wish I did, my landlord would freak out if I had my hardtop from my last samurai sitting in my carport or even the hood up on my wifes car while I changed sparkplugs. I do have a buddy that lets me go to his place in west bountiful to do stuff but our schedules dont mesh so well with my work, school, and family obligations.

The reason for wanting a smoker trailer is that for chrismas my wife and her father bought me a nice masterbuilt electric smoker and ive become addicted to it all by watching BBQ Grillmasters on netflix. I think this would be a great trailer to lift and put the same bolt pattern on that my sidekick has and use it to tailgate, bbq at church or scout events, and neighborhood parties. And it would be small enough that even my wifes car or a suzuki could pull it with ease.

Here is a picture of the expedition trailer I like below.

If you've got a trailer and a smoker, I'd be glad to help you attach it to your trailer. I'm also conveniently located to you. I don't have time to "build" a trailer from scratch, though. Not even for myself.

That trailer looks like a Lowes trailer with a smoker added.

that might be the best option thanks. ill look into it.

I used to want a military trailer as well. They're tough, look cool, and they're relatively cheap. however, they're quite heavy, so the idea isn't as appealing as it used to be.

$1500 for that trailer with new parts including tires. BBQ set up with single gas burner and smoke box.

Well shane it is the first bit of info so I think a hijack should be forgiven. This would be a great trailer to bring to moab for the BBQ.
