Where is the best (cheapest) place to buy leathers in Provo, SLC area? Wrights? I don't want harley brand so the harley shops are out. We will be in town tomorrow and Wendy needs some new chaps and boots on our way through. thanks!

Rolling Thunder has a good selection. They're the Big Dog dealer 1700 S. State. Also Midvalley in the strip mall across from Sam's Club 6400 S. State.

The best time to buy them is at a bike rally, we were at Arizona Bike Week a month or two back, and got Tara some sweet chaps/vest for a screaming good deal.

Renegade would be my first choice, then Midvalley for the chaps. Probably Reams for the boots? Actually, the Harley dealer isn't that bad on boots, especially if you get a close out pair.

I'll just throw this out there...

if you want the leathers for style, then by all means go cheap.

If you want them to save your skin, I would suggest paying top dollar. I'm sure there is more science to this than I'm aware of but I do know that the thickness and type of stitching can mean the difference between you or the leather scrubbing off some speed

Bummer, I was there too. If you go next year let me know, My condo is right next to the desert ridge mall.

I plan on being there next year. This year, it was a coincidence that we were there. We were visiting Tara's parents, and looking for something to do, ended up spending a good portion of the week there:cool:. Saw some good concerts too.

On a side note, if you're ever looking for a cool spot to ride to and have dinner/ drinks, Santan Flats is a kick-ass little place in the Queen Creek area.

Go by Moto X outlet on South State street in Orem, right before you go down in the hill into Provo on the West side of the street. Theyve got quite a few leathers in stock, but can order you most anything you want. And very few local places can beat there prices. The dealers dont even come close.
