I bent the D30 housing in Moab this fall, so I started over with a D44. Had to keep it on a budget so the wife wouldn't kill me but I think it turned out well. Trussed, Alloys, 4.56s, and stayed with an Aussie to save a few pennies. I don't see myself going bigger than the 35's anytime soon so it should hold up just fine.

Grats on the D44. You're pretty light on the gas pedal so I am surprised that yours gave out. I don't know how my locked D30 has survived with the 37's. Just lucky I guess. I know its a timebomb waiting to go boom. I would love to upgrade the front axle but we'll see.
