Wanker and I are planning on going down. He wants to go earlier in the day but some time after seven is probably more likely for me. We will probably be running some lighter trails. Snails revenge, I would love to do the spike but I don't know how it will fit into our schedule. Maybe we can start from the gold bar and just go to the crack or something. I hate that streach south of the crack, five miles of the same rough country gets old.

Trip Report

Well, My bro greg and I left on friday afternoon. We hitched up the sami behind the xj and set the cruise at 65 and a few hours later we were setting up camp on sand flats. Didn't get any wheeling done that night but the next day we proceeded to cover basically every trail in the area, fins, hell's rev, etc.. From there we decided to take it to the lighter side and went and saw the gemini bridges. We wrapped up the day at bartlet slickrock area. according to the signs, this area is not open to cj type jeeps because it had a picture with a line through it. There was no mention of station wagons or sami's so we decided we were OK. Besides, the bikers realy liked the big wheel stand I did intentinally ;). After that we hit the road for home. It was a quick trip but we covered a lot of trail and it was fun.

Oh, I almost forgot to mention, spence flaked out, some weak excuse like having to work  :p
