Hole in the rock 08

Our group made the yearly trip to hole in the rock. There were oldtimers and those that it was their first time. There were the crawing rigs down to a stock zuk and a fourwheeler. It was great trip except for the bad sand storm the day we came out. The new bypass is great I was worried that we would loose a lot of good trail but it has its own obstacle's to enjoy plus some great views. You can view the pictures at the following link

Looks like a sweet trip. That white Jeep has been resurrected!!! Was this his first trip back since it was totaled a couple of years ago? I can't wait to get back down there. The washout seems to be the same from your shots...

This portion of the trail is just East of Lake Powell and due South of Halls Crossing. South East corner of Utah.
Well worth the drive.

Cool pics. Nice to see some full sized rigs on that trail. How did the Commander do?

Commander did great he had put 2" body pucks in and a little taller tire which alowed he to make it to the end. The electronic traction control system was great it never spun a tire we just had to guide him through the rough stuff. plus he has been on a lot of trails with his built up CJ.
