My son and I went on this ride in May but the wind was terrible and we want to go back. I know there is another thread for this trip but because of our date restrictions I am starting second but hopefully we can all get together. We are planning at least 2 nights on the trail so we have time to do a little exploring. My son has a Tacoma and I have a JK. If anyone else is interested including the other group please join in.

I've always wanted to go but everytime someone posts a trip there's always something going on that stops me.

This time it's going to be my past-due-to-be replaced timing belt will still be past-due in Oct 8.

The date is getting closer if anyone is interested in joining us.
Our plans are to drive to Hanksville after work Thursday the 7th. Be on the trail Friday the 8th about 10am. Friday night camp about 3/4 of the way into the trail. Spend Saturday completing the trail, doing some side trips/hiking then camping someplace near the beginning and drive home Sunday.

Lane, Harrison's team made the play-offs as the first place team in their region. Even if they loose this Saturday, they are still in first. His first game is that Saturday. Bummer.

We are planning a Moab or St. George trip when its all over and I will let you know.
