Of the non-conference teams byu played, the only one with a winning record was Northern Illinois--which plays in the same conference as SUU (thats not even division 1)
otherwise they played a good game against a mediocre 4-6 UCLA
they BARELY beat a 0-11 Washington
BYU was overrated, and it showed this year. This Utah team isn't as good as the team in 04, but it deserves to be a top 10 team with wins over Oregon St. (most likely pac 10 champion), TCU, Michigan (at michigan), and BYU.
I'm strongly considering taking the trip to New Orleans if the Utes go to the Sugar Bowl. I just hope they fair better than Hawaii did last year, because we'll draw either Alabama or Florida--the number 1 and number 2 teams in the country right now.

texas is #2. but you're right, they are going to play the #1 team from the SEC, they had better bring their A game if they wanna stay with in a touchdown.

Northern illinois is a super power. Every single year the cougs play every big team and never get respect for some reason. We purposely scheduled NI 7 years ago because we knew they would be a perennial power.
BYU is overrated every year.
Texas is #2 in the BCS--I had it mixed up with the AP poll.
But, I think Florida is going to beat Alabama. If that is the case then we'll probably play 'bama in the sugar bowl. If Florida loses, I'm not sure who we'll get. I doubt they'll put a 2 loss Florida team in a BCS bowl considering there will be a 1 loss Big 12 school at large going in.
