Our furnace just bit the dust. We'll be putting in a new one, maybe upgrading to a full system with cooling. If anyone has a favorite HVAC guy or company I'd love some referrals.

Darren was outstanding on my system. Knows his stuff and shot holes in his competitors "cheaper" system.
I researched and agonized over 13/14.5/16+ SEER AC units. When I pushed him as to why his bid on a 16 SEER ac unit was more than his competition, Darren was the ONLY one to divulge that to get a full 16 seer from your system you must improve both the compressor and the evaporator coils. I would have had a 16 SEER capable compressor in a system that only produced 14 SEER. End result, I went with a 13 seer Trane unit working with a thermostatic expansion valve (you want this) to make a 14.5 SEER unit.
