How do I combat eggers?

So I have a problem. Lately my house has been getting egged about twice a week. It's been getting more frequent, used to be we'd only get it once a month maybe. They've egged my truck, my trailer, my boat, my girfriends car. I even had one of my work trucks parked on the street with a trailer with an excavator on it and they egged that too!

I seem to be on someones route, I have no enemies and I don't even know anyone young enough and immature enough to do that. They're just throwing them as the drive by. None of the eggs make it past the sidewalk.

So what should I do. I want to wait them out with a paintball gun and let them have it when they come by but that only makes the problem worse and probably gets me more eggs in the future. Maybe I just need to sit it out and get their plates and call it in??? I don't know. It's starting to get frustrating.

First report it to the police, maybe they'll up the patrol in your area. Then try to get the eggers license plate number and THEN paint ball them as they drive away. Or egg them back, or water balloons, or even spike strips. (j/k!) Eggers suck, it's hard and sometimes impossible to clean up. Blech.

Ever think about setting a couple of motion sensing light up for a few weeks. I imagine you are not the only one in the neighborhood this is happening too so I doubt the neighbors would complain for a few weeks

We don't have problems anymore but I have a motion detection lan camera that turns on at certain times of the night and will catch footage of vehicles / people within a described area. Something like this with good enough resolution could let you catch license plates or at least a vehicle description.

I think that some bright motion activated lights, along with some cameras might do the trick.

Then you can publish who they are, where they live, see if they like the same treatment.

I was going to say the same thing... get their license plate number which will get us their address and we all can swing by everynight for a week or two and return their eggs back to them....

Oh baby! Done and done. I'll see if I can get one of those camaras. Sitting out is kinda hit or miss.

how do you get their address from their plate? You must have some sort of connection.

oh yeah, motion lights probably won't work too easily since they'er all the way out on the the street just driving by. We live on the outside corner of a 90* turn, there's not much place to put a light. There is a street light out there though so it's usually pretty bright.

man this is reminding my of my youth.
when somthing like this happens to me now, i figure its just pay back for my youth and i let it go, unlike the guy on the other street who unded up with a 10' metal pole stuck through the front windshild of his car.

My air cannon might shoot eggs, it shoots golfballs out 500 yards, at 120psi.

I should try eggs, I would have to wrap them in somthing to make them the size of a golfball.

This should work. It shoots eggs at a high velocity. You should freeze them first too.

I have that dang spider mark on the inside of my jeep because I had the windows down. Harsh to clean it up from inside! Haters.

Stakeout. Provo city police apparently has more cars than officers. THey dropped off a patrol car in our neighborhood to combat speeding. Ask if you can get one stationed on your street.

We live in a wealthy neighborhood, eggs is one thing, the busted out windows is another, I'm grateful I haven't had windows done yet.
