How long have you had your rig?

Ok, in a conversation at winter 4x4 Jamboree it became obvious I have had my rig longer than the guy driving behind me had been alive.

It opened the door to the question that I thought I should ask here, how long have you had your rig?

I picked up my yellow scrambler in 2002...

I've had my LJ since late 2005.

About 9 years. My Sami was my first car when I turned 16. Owned several others over the years, but haven’t let this one go just yet.

Come this Valentine's day I will have had my 2019 Jeep Wrangler for 1 year. Hope to have it a long time though.

Current buggy: finished build in 2012
Buggy before that: finished build in early 2003, parted/sold 2011
XJ before that: purchased in 1998 (I think?) turned into a buggy and junked the body in 2003.

The thing is, I'm still running the engine and transmission from the 1989 XJ i purchased in 1998... that counts, right?

I have had the current Rodeo since '09. It sat for awhile before I did anything to it.

The Rode before that I bought on my birthday in 2000. I DD it and wheeled it for just shy of 15 years before turning the current one into my DD for about 1.5 years.

It's sad to think I've owned the current Rodeo for a decade and have wheeled it less then 30 times. Last year was once. ?
