ok, so I've got almost all the parts cheap or free for a stupid M715 buildup..

anyone want to argue about how low is too low?
drivetrain is looking this this: sm465/AA underdrive (16%)/203/205 doubler, w/Rockwell axles on 42's. That's something like 204:1, in the lowest low.

maybe I should flip the hubs and run 53" Michelins. HAHAHAHAHA

anyway, opinions? I'd be into that whole truck for like $3k.

Where you can switch it up and have lo1 lo2 lo3 lo4 lo5 or what ever combo you want, I think you will be ok. :D

I would recommend making a ratio chart so you know what combination of gears gives you what results...

I'm 123:1 and most of the time it is just right. There are times I wish it was a little lower and times I wish it was a little higher.

IMO 200++:1 is too much, however, you have a doubler so you have many more options.

I was at 250:1 when I had the 2 cases. that is when I started breaking more parts.

Hence Rockwells.. heheh

cool.. I figure, it's damn near free, if it's too much I can take one of the elements away....

that will be cool to still have a pretty low crawl ratio in 4th hahahah, now all I need to do is grow some more hands, that's... 5 shifters to deal with. :ugh:

it will look kind of like this, but with smaller tires. Those are 46's on there.. that's my pal Tom's truck, in PA.

The muddy one, again from PA, is running 42's, w/d60 front d70 rear. That guy has a sick flip-front, rear stear, 48" tired, Rockwell'd, 540'd MONSTER that he should have done soon.

So something like a mix of the two?
