There are 231 cubic inches in one gallon. Does that help?

Yep. Thanks. Got it. I was trying to see how many gallons were in a fish tank I got.

Or equivalently 1 gal = .13368 cubic feet or
1 cubic foot = 7.48 gallon

1 cubic foot = 1728 cubic inches
1728 in^3* 0.0043290043 gallons/in^3 = 7.48051943 Gallons

sq feet is a measurement of surface area and gallons are a measurement of volume

you want gallons in a cubic foot
