This weekend the wife and I were heading to LA. Just south of Mesquite we passed this Tacoma towing a XJ. There was a 1" strap over the wiper cowl area and another over the cab above the rear axle. Then the had put blocks behind the drivers tires(I guess they didnt care if it went foward during a hard stop). It was one of those times were I thought I should snap a picture but at the same time I really didnt want to be next to the guy. Please if you dont know how to secure a vehicle on a trailer.. Dont:)

Saw a guy gun it from a light on Bangerter yesterday only to see the the rear of his toy hauler open up and his Rhino roll down the ramp:eek: Lucky for him noone was behind him and it rolled to a safe stop. He was going so fast he got all the way to the next light before someone stopped him. The look on his face when he walked back to shut the rear only to see his Rhino gone:rofl:

Then again, what do I care??

Not once, but twice I have been passed by the vehicle I was towing. First time was swerving to miss some ass changing lanes. Car came off, and I did a pit manuver on it to stop it before it hit anyone else. I even impressed myself with that move.

The second one wasn't so pretty. Dodge Durango. Had a dead battery when I went to load it. I jumped it, and was headed for the auction. I didn't want to jump it again at the auction, so I left it running in neutral (first mistake). I was in a hurry, and only going about four miles, so I only put one strap on it to save time (second mistake).

As soon as I hit 15 mph, the Durango's traction control came to life! It drove it's way right off my truck, and straight into a Trax station parking lot. Luckily for me, a tree stopped it before it hit a bunch of parked cars. The Durango didn't fare so well though.

If you happened to buy a used Durrango from the auction 3 years ago, sorry bout that!
