AEV does sell the conversion. $39K for the conversion, not counting the cost of the vehicle. Might as well get defender.

I love the look of it as well. But what I can't figure out is why Jeep is so infatuated with weak axles? Take a look at that toothpick they have in front...sheesh.

Slap a nice set of 60's on that thing (or even some 9's) and it would be unstoppable.

Jeep really dropped the ball by not offering the Gladiator pickup. Jeep is not alone in this, GM dropped the ball when they closed down the Hummer division, Toyota dropped the ball by giving the FJ Cruiser an IFS, and dropped the ball by not bringing back the Ford Bronco.
