It was a little late for Christmas, but I got a new truck! This thing is BADASS! It's a monster, I'll try get some pics posted in the next day or 2, but this thing is impressive. It has some amazing options, beefy solid axles, 2 Air lockers, 37" tires and 860 ft/lbs of torque.

I should have taken pics today, but I was too busy playing with it. Wanna guess what it is?

You're headed the right direction! :D

That Freightliner was replaced today, by a brand new International Crew Cab. It has 300 miles on it as of this morning. It has tandem rear axles, with air lockers in each axle, massive utility bed, 8,000# boom, etc, etc.

It has some crazy additional features... it has an diesel-burning heater that you can activate and heat up the fuel, so you can start it in cold temps without it being plugged in.

Another feature it has is an 'Offroad Power' button... if you turn the button on, it gives you additional power for driving in deep sand or other offroad situations where you may need additional wheels speed.

The turbo diesel engine is impressive, crazy torque... all there at 1,400 RPM. It accelerates pretty damn good, just wish I could shift faster!

I'll get pics, but it probably won't be until Wednesday, as we have a meeting tomorrow.

Similar... that one is a newer Freightliner, the other Section I work with has a truck just like that. Mine isn't as tall and looks way better from the front-end, IMO. It's rated to carry up to 4,000 lbs on the rail racks.

How much torque does your work vehicle have? I bet it beats Greg's by a good margin. :D
I don't really know the torque numbers, but running power is 8500 horsepower, and it'll peak up to 9000 horsepower. (2 locomotives)

Back in my freight days I had a short little hotshot from Portland to Seattle that had a combined total 39000 horsepower.

Yeah, you ought to ask me about the time we lost a rail on the highway in California after my old foreman forgot to tie it down.

I wish... :D

At 860 ft/lbs of torque, it's something you can't afford!!!!! :D

You got that right! I just drive it. :greg:
