I've had my ktm listed on KSL for 4 days and I seriously don't understand people. "What's your lowest cash price?" "Will you give a cash discount?"

Why do people think paying me in money is special? What form of payment do people typically use since apparently paying with money is rare?

It's so frustrating. I usually reply," i'm not setup to take credit cards so Cash is your only option" I have been so pissed off by low ballers on my Toy hauler that I told the last 3 people who wanted to come and buy it that day to piss off. It books $13k to $17k. I have it listed for 14 and it is in close to top book shape. I get a text asking if I'm firm on price, I explain it's in high book shape and priced below mid book. After we setup a time to meet, they ask if I'll take $12k. I tell them to enjoy their life as an ass hat. This has repeated 4 times in the last 3 weeks.

I am going to use the following from now on. When asked if I will take x I will agree and setup a time to meet. Then 5 minutes after arranged meeting time, I will text the buyer and inform them that my spiritual adviser contacted me and strongly suggested that I not complete the deal. Do not offer apology because what am I to do, not follow my spiritual adviser?

Should have asked him what size boots he wore, then whatever size he says, reply with 'Yeah, me too...' And then proceed to tell him that just between you and him, you have had a NASTY foot fungus, but the medication has almost cleared it up and the doctor says that it's probably not contagious at this point. Then ask him when he wants to pick up the bike and boots...

I had this little gem saved in my phone from when I had my propane tanks listed on KSL. I had them listed for I believe $500 for 5 8 gallon tanks from what I can remember (No longer having propane on the buggy has made me forget all about that life haha) but this guy is a winner.

Awww, Matthew J Kelly of Utah got mad at me because I wouldn't take his half-priced offer on a engine I'm selling... poor little guy. And apparently I'm a "dousche" because of that. If you're going to insult somebody, at least spell it right!

This guy was pathetic, he pretended like he didn't see the price and even screenshot the ad to prove his point... but the price is right there. :oops:

I've decided at this point I'm just going to call people out on their bullshit offers, not kiss their ass trying to sell my stuff. The bad thing about selling of FB is the seller rating system, anyone that you have a bad encounter with can give you a bad rating.... if that matters?

Wow. That's definitely one of the worst I've seen. If he thought he had any chance of getting you to come down in price, that's a great way to start a negotiation...

Not long ago when I sold our Murano, I had a guy that offered me $4k in cash on my $9.5k asking price. I said no and he responded with "but it's cash." *Sigh*
